Hello, I am a squished basket (this is hard to photograph). This often happens in transport as I am the last basket of a row, at the bottom of a stack, squished into a corner or have a lot of weight on me. I am only mildly squished and still extremely beautiful and functional. Love me as I am, or you are welcome to soak me in boiling water (I am fully waterproof) then stuff with towels to try bounce me back into shape a bit. Sometimes this works well or I may be quite stubborn as I have been squished for a whole month travelling to Australia from Myanmar. I hope you can appreciate my wonkiness as unique :) Please look at my photos carefully to see my dints.
Small baskets are a great every day handbag size. Perfect for popping to the shop for bread and milk, taking lunch and drink bottle to work or for every day essentials. Pali Baskets are super strong and durable. Small baskets can hold up to 6kg.

The Burmese traditional weaving methods have been passed down for generations.
Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven from a combination of new, reused and recycled pallet strapping. The base and handles are made from bamboo and rattan purchased from local farmers. Recycled materials are not always available but we are continually working on new ways to make this more achievable.
Baskets are designed to last a long time and are fully recyclable at the end of their life when recycled correctly (see shipping & returns for details).
